Since 2005 Functional Ergonomics has been Central California's leading provider of cost effective Functional Capacity Testing and Ergonomic Consulting Services. Uniquely situated as an independently owned and operated facility, it has developed long term relationships with its employer partners many of whom have been working with our staff since 1991.
All of our tests and services are performed by our professional staff, all of whom have over 40 years of combined experience in functional testing and ergonomics. Post Offer and Fitness for Duty results are available the same day as testing. Ergonomic solutions are also presented at the time of the assessment with a detailed report within several business days.

Mr. Traut is the President and founder of Functional Ergonomics, Inc. He is a graduate of The University of Toledo with a Masters' Degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiotherapy. He has been a Registered Kinesiotherapy for over 30 years and is a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist III. Mr. Traut has implemented hundreds of Post Offer Testing programs and performed thousands of tests and job analyses. He is a frequent speaker on Ergonomics, Body Mechanics, and Functional Testing.
Mr. Reyes has been part of the professional team at Functional Ergonomics, Inc. since 2005. He is a graduate of San Diego State University. Mr. Reyes has played a key role in the development of Post Offer and Fitness for Duty Testing programs, including an annual on-site testing program at one of the nations largest nut producing facilities. James supervises the Work Fitness & Conditioning Program ensuring a safe return to work for many of our patient clients.
